Readak's website has been set up in the Cornell Method of note-taking, a skill you will
master in the Readak Advanced Learning Skills course. Developed by Walter Pauk of Cornell
University and described in detail in his book How to Study in College, the Cornell
Method is more than forty years old. Since then, countless high schools, colleges, and
universities have adopted the method, and you may even find Cornell or split-style note
paper in office, school supply stores, and college and university bookstores. It's that
effective!
Use the wide column on the left (called the Recall Column) for important terms, questions,
and names you'll need to remember. The Recall Column is designed to keep track of the
information that will trigger your memory when you review your notes later.
