Since 1957, Readak has helped over 225,000 students in more
than 3,000 non-public schools become better students. The
Advanced Learning Skills course is a supplement to the grade
5-12 curriculum. We offer the program on-site in host schools
worldwide. Our sole focus is helping students improve their
ability to confidently meet daily academic challenges by
improving the ways they read and study.

The Readak Advanced Learning Skills instructor uses an
intensive, hands-on approach in helping students to achieve
their full academic potential. Over the course of three or five
weeks, students learn how to learn more efficiently by
developing more effective reading and study skills.

In addition to improving reading speed and comprehension,
the Readak course fosters more efficient time management,
better note-taking and improved listening. These are extremely
valuable skills that have an immediate and positive impact in the
classroom, in daily homework assignments, and in preparation
for standardized tests such as the ACT/PSAT/SAT in the U.S.,
the International Baccalaureate, the CXC and IGCSE in the Caribbean; and the TEE, VCE and HSC in Australia and other similar standardized examinations.

The Readak program uses proven methods to benefit students of
all levels of ability and academic performance.
